I costi a persona per due settimane sono sono cosi' calcolati:

Non incluso: rafting, quadbike, assicurazione personale, visti.
I pagamenti si effettuano in dollari con trasferimento bancario internazionale oppure con trasferimento su fineco con 1% di sovratassa.

Traditional and Sustainable Tourism in Africa

Experience Best of Uganda – 14 days

Active – Nature & Culture 

Day 1: Kampala

 

·          Leave the hotel at 9am and visit the market

·          Visit to the giant tortoises of the King

·          Visit to the King Tombs

·          Tour of the town in a Boda Boda, a sort of local moto-taxi and stop at an art craft centre

·          Around 4pm visit the children of an orphanage. Introduction to Luganda: the children will teach some basic greetings

·          Dinner with the children: you will help to prepare the food and you will eat the traditional African way

·          Night in Kampala (or optional in Jinja) 

 

 

Day 2: Murchison Falls (alternatively Semliki National Park – great rain forest and hot springs)

 


·          Leave at 7am. Drive to the Rhino Fund centre and go locate the rhinos in the huge conservation reserve

·          Stop over at the many stalls on the road to try the typical roasted Cassava and other local food

·          Reach Murchison Falls around 4pm

·          Walk to the top of the Falls

·          Night in the Park

 

Day 3: Murchison Falls (alternatively Semliki National Park – great rain forest and hot springs)

 

·          At 7am morning game drive

·          Afternoon on the boat to the source of Murchison Falls: on the boat you will see plenty of crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, birds and hippos

·          Night in Masindi

 

Day 4: Fort Portal

 

·          Leave Masindi at 9am

·          Drive to Fort Portal and arrive around 2:30pm

·          Afternoon activities with local communities

·          Dinner with a local family where you will learn about cooking traditional food

·          Night in Fort Portal

 

 

Day 4: Chimp Trekking at Kibale National Park (or nature walk in Kibale)

 

·          Morning chimp trekking (or nature walk) in Kibale

·          Lunch in the Park

·          Drive to Queen Elizabeth and arrive in Mweya around 6pm

·          Night in Queen Elizabeth 

 

 

 

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth

 

·          Leave at 6:30 for game drive

·          Afternoon boat trip along the wild life crowded banks of Kazinga Channel: eye to eye with hippos, birds, buffaloes, elephants etc.

·          Night in Queen Elizabeth

 

 

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth

 

·          Arrive at the bats and phytons cave around 8:30am

·          Visit to Ishasha looking for climbing lions around 11:30am

·          Packed lunch

·          Leave Queen Elizabeth around 3pm

·          Arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park around 7pm or in Kisoro at 9:30pm (according to the place for gorilla trekking)

·          Night in Bwindi or Kisoro

 

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking (or half day mountain trekking)

 

·          Trekking the Mountain Gorillas (or or half day mountain trekking)

·          Visit to a local market or trading centre

·          Night in Kisoro

 

 

Day 9: Kisoro

 

·          Leave hotel at 8:00

·          Meeting with the Batwa Pygmies or other local population

·          Night in Lake Bunyonyi

 

 

Day 10: Lake Bunyonyi

 

·          Crossing of the lake in locally made canoes from a single eucalyptus tree

·          Lunch will be prepared by local villagers

·          Visit to the anti-malaria plantations around Kabale

·          Dinner and traditional dance

·          Night in Lake Bunyonyi

 

 

Day 11: Lake Mburo

 

·          Drive to Lake Mburo, arrive around at noon

·          Visit of the park looking for zebras and antelopes.

·          Night safari searching for leopards on a scientific expedition to protect and observe them.

·          Night in Lake Mburo

 

Day 12-13: Ssese Islands

 

·          Leave at 7am and arrive in Bukakata at 10am

·          Transport via boat or ferry to Buggala, the main island.  

·          Nature walk and relax on the sand beach

·          On the second day boat trip of the many islands

·          Departure via boat or ferry

·          Drive to Jinja and arrive around 8:30pm

Day 14: Jinja

 

·          All day in Jinja:

·          Option 1: Full day white water rafting with Nalubale Rafting

·          Option 2: Visit to Bujagali falls and walks around the river bank. Visit to the traditional doctor in Bujagali Falls to learn about African spirituality and belief system.

·          Option 3: Half day white water rafting and half day quad-bike or bicycle around the local villages

·          Drive to Entebbe according to the time of the flight
